Leading LGBTQ publisher hires former Pride Media exec to expand its growing lineup of advertising partners

Q.Digital, the leading global LGBTQ online publisher, today announced the appointment of Joel Shoemaker, formerly of Pride Media, as Regional Vice President Sales based in New York City. He will report to Justin Garrett, Chief Revenue Officer.

In his new position, Shoemaker will focus on super-serving Q.Digital’s rapidly growing list of integrated advertising partners.

“I’m really honored to join the team at Q.Digital. Its brands are leaders in their respective areas with Queerty leading in entertainment, GayCities leading in travel and LGBTQ Nation leading in social reach,” said Shoemaker. “These brands lead the LGBTQ space in forward thinking having been socially optimized since their inception. I’m excited to help our marketing partners connect to our total audience of over 5 million across our digital, social and mobile apps.”
