Pride is in the rear-view mirror, and we’re already deep into the back half of 2026. This is our first look at the programs we’re building across Outsports, Queerty, GayCities, and LGBTQ Nation, all of them brand safe and all of them built around the cultural moments our audiences actually care about: sports, entertainment, travel, and community.
Several of these are first-to-market opportunities, which means the brands that move early get the category to themselves. Here’s what’s coming.
Sports
Outsports Campus Courage (Aug/Sept) First to market. Dynamic profiles, interviews, and photo galleries celebrating out college athletes who are driving performance on the field and influence on social media. College sports content lands with fans right as the fall season kicks off.
Outsports Year in Review (Nov/Dec) First to market. Outsports honors the best of 2026 in a year-end content hub built on editorial and athlete video. The anchor is a “Personal Best Panel” video counting down the top-ranked lists in each hero category, distributed across audiences and platforms. The hub includes:
- Athletes of the Year: The LGBTQ athletes who defined 2026.
- Triumphs of the Year: The moments fans couldn’t stop talking about.
- The Personal Best Award: A fans’ choice honor decided by audience voting across social.
Outsports More Than A Number (Evergreen) Our video series chronicling the most thrilling moments of out athletes’ careers, made for any sports fan. The original five-part series, narrated by Olympian Gus Kenworthy, follows the defining plays, the wins and losses, and the critical moments of five out athletes. Series two arrives in late 2026 and 2027 with four new episodes, each timed to the biggest moments in sports and narrated by a well-known athlete.
Entertainment
All That Glitters, Queerty (Aug-Mar) Awards season officially opens with Emmy nominations in July, so Queerty is rolling out the red carpet with a content series previewing the films and stars everyone’s going to be talking about, running from the 2026 Emmys through the 2027 Oscars and Queerties.
Queerty Holiday Edit (Dec) First to market. Queerty’s ELEGANZA section hosts our first annual Holiday Edit, a creator-led holiday shopping destination featuring the products, brands, experiences, and causes LGBTQ creators genuinely love. Each category pairs a short editorial gift list with a creator reel (“What I’m Gifting This Year”), with links to buy and a charitable org to support. Sample categories: The Frequent Flyer, The Fitness Fanatic, The Pop Culture Obsessive, The Homebody, The Sports Fan, The New Parent, The Wellness Guru.
Queerty Yearbook (Nov/Dec) First to market. As 2026 closes out, Queerty looks back at the people, pop culture moments, series, movies, music, and trends we couldn’t stop talking about. The immersive hub features “The Queerty Yearbook Committee,” a creator video where three creators grade the year that was, alongside editorial superlatives (Who Owned the Year? Most Likely To Break the Internet, Best Glow-Up, Couple We’d Invite To Brunch) and interactive social formats like Swipe to Remember, This or That, and Did This Really Happen in 2026?
Travel
Best of GayCities (Sept) The most prestigious annual LGBTQ travel awards, highlighting the best destinations, experiences, and travel influencers of the year.
