Seven years ago, we started GayCities because we felt that the LGBTQ community deserved better choices in online media. We started with travel and our members quickly made GayCities the number one travel & city guide. Advertisers quickly jumped on board. Thanks to the support of brands such as Hyatt, Virgin America, American Airlines our business grew rapidly. Next, we acquired Queerty and under its new editorial leadership its readership grew over 2000% in a few short years.

Today, we are announcing Q.Digital, the next step in bringing unique, trusted and differentiated voices to a growing audience. Q.Digital brings together GayCities and Queerty with three recently acquired sites: LGBTQ Nation, the most followed LGBTQ news site with more than 1 million social media followers; Dragaholic, which will become a Queerty channel; and The Bilerico Project, the award winning news and politics site. Bilerico, led by Bil Browning, will merge into LGBTQ Nation.

Clearly, there’s strength in the brands and the audience they generate: Q.Digital’s reach for the first time surpassed Here Media and Gay Ad Network in the month of August, making us the most popular LGBTQ network in this market. (Unique Users, August 2015,

Looking ahead, we aim to be an indispensable resource while inspiring our audience to seek great experiences down the block and around the world.

For brands and agencies, we strive to make a real difference in marketing efforts by offering opportunities to engage with this passionate demographic on a personal and credible level. We offer high-impact custom advertising options, we’ve held screening parties for new TV series, held nationwide talent searches, produced original web series, and helped our audiences discover countless new entertainment and travel options and products. We look forward to helping more and more brands connect with our growing audience.

We’re passionate about what we do, we have fun doing it, and we love our members and readers who help us keep a finger on the pulse of this amazing community.

Say hello to Q.Digital – the trusted voice in the LGBTQ community.
